Kindness Scavenger Hunt

It's easy to notice the difficult parts of the day: the annoyances and pain points and frustrations. We can't always stop the big, very real problems around us, but sometimes changing our days around is possible. This quick art project for kids can help us notice the light and goodness around us.

Try this:

Print this printable (it comes with your Membership, just search kindness in Art Feeds Online) or create your own version. Start by drawing a symbol in a certain color for each of these prompts. You can draw them in the squares next to the words.

Get out another sheet of paper (or flip over your master sheet). As you notice each moment in the day, make the mark on a piece of paper. At the end of the day, you'll have a collection of symbols that represent the beauty and gratitude you've experienced all day long. There are no wrong answers in the way you do this. You can make it organized like a log.
