Rain, rain go away, come again another day. Sometimes rain can be a bummer because it can make it too wet to go outside and play. But rain is important for air pollution, watering our earth, and making puddles to jump in! Let's make a hanging mobile together to celebrate rain.

-Yarn

-Watercolor paper

-Markers

-iHeart Art 12 Watercolors & Waterbrush Pen

-Scissors

-Washi Tape

-Low Temp Hot glue

Instructions:

Step 1: Start with watercolor paper and use a wet-on-wet technique for watercoloring. Use your brush to paint water on the entire sheet of paper, then use your watercolors to paint over it so the paint is very wet and has a marbled effect. Let dry.

Step 2: Draw 3-4 cloud shapes on the dry painted paper, then cut on the lines.

Step 3: Watercolor on another sheet of paper filling it with color. Let it dry, then draw raindrops all over it and cut them out.

Step 4: Tie pieces of yarn to the top of the embroidery hoop, then use washi tape or hot glue to attach the rain drops to the yarn.

Step 5: Use low temp hot glue gun to attach clouds to the top of the embroidery hoop in front of where the yarn is tied.
