Art Feeds Makes

Indigenous Poetry

We're going to look at the wise words of Indigenous Poets and honor those words for our project today! Using the Indigenous Poetry worksheet from the blog at artfeeds.org, you can explore poems by different Indigenous writers from your area and land with an internet search. Choose your favorite poem and pay attention to how that poem makes you feel. We'll combine the poet's words with our own feelings, drawings, and paintings to create a collaborative work of art.
