Grow A Rainbow

Let's grow a rainbow! We explored the Art World with our printable, and that inspired us to experiment with rainbows. Using some simple materials from around the house, we can grow a rainbow together.

-2 small clear containers


-Paper Towels





Step 1: Fold up a paper towel long ways until you have a piece about one to two inches wide

Step 2: Color a rainbow about one to two inches long on each end of the paper towel

Step 3: Fill up two clear containers with water

Step 4: Place one end of the paper towel in one cup and the other end in the other cup

Step 5: Watch for your rainbow to grow!
