Why art feeds is different

Funding | Art Feeds operates on the 100% model: this means all our overhead needs our provided to us by a community of givers committed to keeping our organization running with a set amount per year or in-kind donation. This community of givers is called The Palette. This allows 100% of public and individual donations to go directly to our students. Your $1 per child, per lesson means that every penny of your gifted dollar goes to our students.

Access | Art Feeds is committed giving all children access to the arts and expression. To put this into practice, our programs move into the classrooms and are completely free of cost to the students, parents and school. We do this to ensure that no student is without access to the arts due to cost of the programs.

Curriculum | In our programs, we work to build an environment that encourages our students to come to creative conclusions by their own route, and express emotions in any means possible. We are not limited to one type of art but work to provide the full artist experience to our students by experimenting with drawing, painting, building, sculpting, writing, photography, dance, music, performing arts and more as avenues of expression and empowerment. Our programs are never step by step instructions on how to create, but rather a discussion of artists, styles and mediums, followed by the tools they need to create. We pride ourselves on having an innovative curriculum and the best educators to encourage this growth in our children.
