Ever wonder what magical goodness can come from scribbling? This fun and simple DIY for children brings scribbling to a whole new level while relaxing them if they’re stressed or need to decompress. We recommend giving it a try with your child, because not only can this be therapeutic for them, but it can be therapeutic for you too! It’s truly soothing and we are slightly obsessed.

What you’ll need:

  • Watercolor paper
  • Permanent marker
  • Watercolor paints

What to do:

  1. Fill the watercolor paper with big scribbles overlapping and intersecting each other.
  2. Paint each section with of scribbles with watercolor paint.

What makes this even better? You can listen to your favorite tunes and take your time! This DIY is something for both the parents and children to do together!

Fun Twist: Challenge your child to fill the spaces of their watercolor scribble with words that describe themselves! This can be a fun way for children to learn why they are SO worth loving!
