During the YMCA camp, we held a series of 4 workshops each one focusing on a different theme.  One of those workshops focused on Expressive Art.

This session focused on Typography and how fonts may say more than the word it is conveying.  We analyzed fonts that we often see, then stylized our own fonts!

Our next project was watercolor self-portraits- Voted Favorite Media by Art Feeds Students.

We discussed how some people express themselves through fashion and the way they dress.  Then we had our own Project Runway Contest!

We wrapped up the day with theater games and discussed how we can express ourselves through performance and communicate non-verbally.  This was our favorite shot from this session!
