Brittany is a Curriculum Intern for Art Feeds- She’s one of our few out-of-town interns who corresponds with one of our staffers and helps us plan awesomely creative lessons for the little artists in Art Feeds programs! We love her positive vibes and creative ideas. We thought you would like to meet her too! Here’s Art Feeds’s Miss Brittany:
AF: What does Art Feeds for you?
BB: Art Feeds Creativity! We need to be able to express ourselves individually and art is my way of expressing who I am!
AF: Why were you drawn to Art Feeds?
BB: I’ve volunteered before at Vans Warped Tour and immediately fell in love with what Art Feeds does!
AF: What has been your favorite part of working for Art Feeds?
BB: One of my favorite parts of working for Art Feeds would be talking back and forth to one of the sweetest people I have ever met! Miss Brooke! She helped me out so much and I feel extremely blessed to have been given the chance to be apart of the Art Feeds family! Another favorite part of working for Art Feeds would be the amazing things that come out of it! From Brooke and I first creating a lesson plan to seeing pictures of the kiddos doing our project! It’s so rad!
AF: If Art Feeds were a hairstyle, what would it be?
BB: Rapunzel’s hair! Art Feeds has endless possibilities and the organization keeps growing!
AF: What is your favorite media to work with and how has it affected your emotional and cognitive development?
BB: My favorite media to work with would be oil paints. I love how forgiving the paint is. When I make mistakes in my paintings I know that when I start fresh the next day, I’ll be able to go right over my mistakes and improve.
AF: Would you recommend an Art Feeds internship to a friend?
BB: Absolutely! Why wouldn’t I?! All of my friends would love to be an intern for Art Feeds. We are all artistic and love helping people, so Art Feeds would be perfect for them.
