First order of business:

Our internship application is back up!  We’re accepting interns at Joplin’s Art Feeds HQ- & Online Interns!

With Online Internships, your work is Assignment based.  You will be sent an assignment from your manager once or twice a week to be completed by your personally-set due date.  Here’s  run-down of our online internship responsibilities:

Lesson Planning:  Lesson planning intern’s focus on creating new innovative curriculum for the Art Feeds kiddos.  Interns are given mediums or themes to run with and build lessons around those parameters.  It is exciting to see those lessons come alive in the classroom and become a big hit with our kids.

Opportunities Research: Opportunities interns research grant/funding opportunities and exposure opportunities that Art Feeds can apply for.  This is a fun interactive activity that allows interns to see more of the business side of Art Feeds.

Graphic Design: If graphic design is your talent – let’s see that portfolio!

Public Relations: With an online PR internship, interns can create press releases and blog content for public distribution.  This job requires a critical eye and great proof reading skills.

 Research: Research interns will be given assignments to research the latest in therapeutic art through finding articles or interesting occurrences regarding what’s going on the world around us.  We like to be on the up-and-up but sometimes our time constraints limit that ability.  Research interns will be asked to summarize their finding into short executive summaries.
