This week, we held a super-fun-packed workshop at Irving Elementary for 80 of the Art Feeds hooligans.  Vh1 came to film these projects, so all the kiddos got to be in front of cameras.

We had 4 sessions:

1. Mural Painting: We finished a wall we had started this spring at Irving Elementary.

2. Calming Jars: We filled mason jars with water & glitter, then decorated them with paint pens.  Now we have something to focus on when storms make us nervous.

3. The Wishing Tree: We painted this super cute tree, then moved it into the playground for our last session.

4. Origami and Wishing Tree Ribbons: We folded paper & decorated ribbons with dreams and ambitions! Then, we all gathered in the playground to hang them on our Wishing Tree together.

We had a total blast at this one- & we’re hosting FIVE more days like this July 23-27 at Art Feeds Art Camp!  It will be held at Irving Elementary Monday-Friday with 4 sessions of AWESOME art projects every day.
